James Cronje
James is Head of Construction at Africa Specialty Risks, boasting 12 years of experience in the construction market writing both a global portfolio of construction risks and a substantial number of construction risks in Africa.
Previously, James led the construction teams at two syndicates and has written on both Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s paper. James is a qualified engineer, having previously worked in variety of engineering and commissioning projects for the likes of Tecnicas Reunidas, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, and Biotech companies, before joining the insurance market.
James is Ghanaian and holds multiple Masters degrees: a MEng from UCL and a Masters in Offshore and Ocean Technology with Subsea Engineering.
