ASR at Lloyd’s
ASR Syndicate 2454 is the first African focused syndicate writing business at Lloyd’s and is managed by Apollo.
ASR Syndicate 2454 officially began underwriting on 26 April 2024.
By becoming a Lloyd’s Syndicate, ASR gains access to the Lloyd’s brand strength and global reputation and gains access to Lloyd’s licenses across the world enabling more risk mitgation solutions for local and global business operating into and across Africa.
In return, ASR brings unique access to profitable African Risks, expertise in the African market and will lead consortia to deploy greater capacity for new business.
Syndicate number “2454” was chosen for the ASR Syndicate because it was launched in 2024 and there are 54 Countries in Africa!
Active Underwriter at ASR Syndicate 2454
Martin Boreham is ASR Syndicate 2454’s Active Underwriter.
Martin has been with ASR since April 2021, serving as Co-Director of Underwriting and Head of Liability.
